About the Institution
Smt. Fulehra Smarak Mahila Mahavidyalaya, located in Kamtailla, Rasara, Ballia (Uttar Pradesh), is a respected higher education institution dedicated to the empowerment of rural women through quality education. It is managed by Shri Fulehra Smarak Siksha Prasarini Samiti, Rasara, Ballia, a society registered under the Society Act, 1860.
The college plays a vital role in promoting higher education for girls from rural and underdeveloped areas of Ballia district. With a strong commitment to academic excellence and social development, the college continues to make significant contributions to women’s education in the region.
Academic Structure
The academic session begins in July and concludes in April–May. Admission to the B.Ed. program is based on university entrance examinations and is conducted in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Examining Body, UP Government, and NCTE. The college charges tuition and other fees as per the norms and regulations of Purvanchal University.
Currently, the college offers programs under the following faculties:
- Faculty of Education
- Faculty of Arts
Courses offered include Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), providing students with comprehensive learning in both academic and professional disciplines.
